Rotaractors Nicole & Cetareh announced an event that they are having on April 13 called a Celebration of Service. It is being held at the Petty Officers Mess in the Rainbow room. Doors open at 6, cost is $40.
Ali introduced our speaker Joan Toone, assisted by her husband Terry, both from the Rotary Club of Victoria. Joan is a survivor of Polio and gave an incredibly informative presentation on Polio. It was heartbreaking and inspiring and for me personally gave even more meaning to Rotary’s goal of eradication of Polio in the world. Than you Joan & Terry for educating us and sharing your personal experience.
Joan Peggs thanked the speakers. Peter asked Wendy to lead us in quoting the Four Way Test.
