Rotary Club of Oak Bay

Bulletin, 29 January, 2019

By Atam Uppal

It was a well-attended meeting and participants were welcomed warmly on entry.

President Peter called the meeting to Order and announced good news that sent past President Wendy over the moon. In particular he announced that a large Global grant has been received ($49,500 and $8000) related to helping to advance our work with the Victoria Native Friendship Center; and that two Rotaractors, Chris and Nora, brought in a cheque for $500 with their generous contribution to the Native Friendship Centre! Rotaractors Rock! Thank you.

The National Anthem was sung with pride and gusto by all present,
