Victoria Hand Project
Victoria Hand Project is a Canadian charity born in the Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering Dept of UVic. that provides low-cost, 3D-printed prosthetic arms to amputees in low-income and conflict-affected regions by equipping and training local clinics. In partnership with local Rotary Clubs we will soon bring to clinics in Rwanda, the capacity to provide prosthetic care for 100 amputees in the immediate future while building long-term capacity for ongoing service. The innovative technology, hands-on training, and local leadership will create a sustainable, life-changing prosthetic program in the region.
