Our Rotary Club is involved in International humanitarian projects in countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Malawi, South Africa, India, East Timor, Guatemala and Mexico. Our total contribution over the past five years towards International Projects was over $65,000.

In addition to the above our Club Members have generously contributed to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. Our total contribution over the past five years towards the Rotary Foundation was over $85,000.

Our current international projects are in the following countries:

  • CAMBODIA: Vocational school for street kids
  • EAST TIMOR: Medical supplies and training after disaster emergencies
  • LESOTHO: Nutrition and Food Security– Establishing a piggery and also improving livelihood
  • MALAWI: Ongoing support to APU – A girls school with outstanding students and teachers
  • RWANDA: Youth Entrepreneurship and Health Education, and
  • DISASTER AID in various communities
 However, that's not all we've done. Some other  projects we've worked on include:

  • East Timor - Medical supplies and training after disaster emergencies
  • Ethopia - (Lillidale School) – Pre-school Literacy

  • India – Water, Sanitation
  • Lesotho – Improving livelihood
  • Malawi – APU Girls School – Water, Sanitation, Solar energy, Education
  • Mexico – Water, Sanitation, Education of primary school children
  • Play Ball Project
  • Rotoplast
  • Rwanda – Various Humanitarian Projects with widows and youth
  • South Africa – (Vuyelani Primary School) – Water and electricity
  • Tanzania – School
  • Tsunami Relief Fund
  • Wheelchairs
